Call today to enroll your child in the SIU Carbondale Head Start program for the school year beginning in August. Enrollment referrals are accepted year-round. For enrollment information at Head Start, call:

Registration Information

To be eligible for 2024-2025, children should be three on/before September 1, 2024, but not yet old enough for kindergarten. Parent/Legal guardian must be present. Bring as much of the following documentation as possible:

• Certified birth certificate or hospital birth certificate, or medical card
• Proof of income for the last 12 months
• Child's most recent health information (physical, TB test, blood lead test, immunizations, hemoglobin/hematocrit screening, dental exam)
